This system securely retains the pivot ball within the rod end, making it a fully rebuildable option that stands up to the rigors of RC racing. The inclusion of an M2.5 set screw allows you to apply pressure to the tension set piece, enabling easy readjustment as components naturally wear over time.

When assembling your machined rod ends, please note the following:

• Due to assembly differences between molded and machined rod ends, these may not cinch down completely and might rotate slightly when installed.
• Apply a small amount of thread lock on the M2.5 set screw; excessive application may hinder removal.
• Thread lock is unnecessary for the M4 threads during installation onto the link.
• Patience is key during assembly due to the small components; ensure proper orientation for easy setup.
• Not suitable for links with reverse cut threads (e.g., SCX10 III & Capra).
• Not recommended for extreme triangulated setups.
