With the ECS drive shafts, wheel vibrations and noise are decreased to minimum, steering is increased, and cornering speed and smoothness are noticeably increased.
It is very important to regularly service the shafts in order to increase the lifespan and maintain performance.
Before use, these steps MUST be followed:
1. Assemble the ECS drive shaft. 2. Use #106210 HUDY Graphite Grease to lubricate both drive shaft couplings. 3. Use medium-grade thread lock (e.g., Loctite 242) on both setscrews. Do not use too much threadlock as it may block the drive shaft. 4. Ensure that the ECS drive shaft moves freely.
